Went for the swift but 222 is still good .Shot with a 22 ,22-250 ,22wmr ,12 gauge ,410 30-30,303-25, 308 in other worlds I run what i brung

Jeff 8,I havent a door rest but I use a full zippered gun bag and lay It across the dash when going up a steep bit ie creek bank you can easily hold it with your free hand :roll:

Mate I would not feel overgunned with a 308 on reds go for a good 150 grn proj and keep the 223 for the varmits

Sorry Bushchook ,Using 40 bkings in front of reloader 7 now.Mate it is not for sale at this time.think I will go with the 204clf and keep the sako barrel

Thanks again fellas that 222/204 looks the goods so what would you call it?What barrel length would be an ideal remembering it will mainly be used as spotlighting rifle /intro to centrefires for my family.Also what be the anticipated ballistics

Thanx Fellas, Ogre6br is a sporter weight barrel so dont want to modify stock would like to keep it as original looking as poss(had It for 32 years) CB like the idea what sort of dies would you suggest Jethro what sort of press did you use and dies? how many passes etc Trevort sorry to miss judge ha...

Rinso,It would be mainly used under a spotlight Having said that a bit of fox whistling would be thrown in as well.It would have to be reasonably quiet for small acreages.IN the mix my wife has plans to use it and my two sons will I hope grow into it
